We have a beautiful purpose built centre catering for children aged 0-5 years, opposite the hospital. Featuring four age specific classrooms with quality educational resources and a fantastic playground.

A few words from Michelle our Centre Manager

I have been teaching since September 1997, graduating with a Bachelor of Education in December 2001. I have been Manager of the CubbyHouse since it opened in Masterton in June 2011.

I love watching the natural curiosity of children and believe they are able to teach us as much as we can teach them.

Over my teaching career I have developed a real passion for under twos. This is a critical time in children’s development as this is when they form connections within the brain, which set the foundations for all future learning.
I value each child as an individual, who needs quality, sustained interactions with interested adults, teachers, in order to develop to their full potential. Making time to develop positive responsive relationships with children is essential for the child to learn, grow, and trust in themselves and others.

I am now lucky enough to oversee the development of all children, in our fabulous centre, all the way through to school leaving age. Together with our warm caring teachers, supporting you and your child, we will ensure their potential learning power is met.
